Dell XPS 15 9560
i7-7700HQ, NVIDIA GTX 1050, 16gb RAM
That almost bezeless 4k screen is beautiful to look at
Mmm... that carbon fiber
Mostly got this on the basis my HP Envy 17 was way too big to comfortably carry around

Nice! I like those. I’m currently thinking about picking up a 13" laptop to take to classes since my 15" is kinda big and heavy for carrying around all the time.

Meh, Apple has the same stuff! Sure it’s twice the price, but your computer doesn’t have a glowing apple on the top of it!

I really like how portable the 15 inch is actually, well, of course I’d say that coming from a 17 inch, but because of the small bezels, the computer is really smaller than many other 15 inch laptops

And the new macs don’t have a glowing apple either :/

Yeah they have gotten significantly smaller with the smaller bezels. I bought my 15 inch in 2013 and the newer ones are a lot smaller.

It looks like Edge isn’t doing its only one job of downloading Chrome or Firefox, lol.

Beautiful!!! I somehow got a free Windoze tablet myself.
It’s bottlenecked by an Intel Atom processor that won’t take more than 1gb ram though.
Also, I just now realized your username refers to a turbofan. :D

It’s easier for me i’ve found to manage downloads from edge, since i download tons of mods for FSX

Nice! How’d you manage to score that?

Parents ordered a ton of stuff from a sketchy company (MDG) and they got a free tablet out of it. It’s not perfect, but it is pretty neat having Windows 10 in tablet form.

I’d love to pick up something from Eluktronics. They’ve got a sub-$1000 laptop available with a 1050 in it. Of course, the entry level processor is a Pentium, but in my experience, Pentium processors are surprisingly swift.

wow! a GTX1060 for under 1000! of course you’d have to add on ram and a processor and everything, but still sounds pretty impressive

I was looking at the W650KK1 mostly because it’s far stealthier and looks a bit more like a work laptop.

That is an absolutely outstanding daily driver laptop. My only complaint is the power cord angle and style. We need to all have MagSafe power from Apple on these types of laptops.

MDG. It’s been a while since I have heard anyone mention them. I have thought on several occasions that a small windows tablet could be handy, but I haven’t been able to bring myself to buy one. It’s always a toss up of price vs. perceived quality. E.g.: Should a person get a cheap tablet, or save up and get something like a Surface?
